Gotta start somewhere

This is the start of my new adventure in communication.

One Step at a Time is about home and family, working and mothering, living with chronic illness and many many other things.

Let me introduce myself.

I am Janet and I live with my family - my Husband and The Swarm - so named for their propensity to empty cupboards in a single swoop.

Some might say that I'm living with the Young Ones - a pompous would-be Anarchist , a Suave Operator, a Hippy and a Punk.  They can choose their own characters if they recognise them.  Sometimes they seem to be just a little interchangeable - so as I refer to them you may not immediately recognise who I'm talking about.  But never mind, you will come to love my family - hopefully as much as I do.  The question is, am I Cliff Richard or one of the Balowskis?  Time will tell.

I work full time for the government - trust me.

And I manage a home, job, family and community life while also managing fibromyalgia.  More about that another time.

For now, I guess I hope that someone will come here and read my blog posts, maybe comment, and maybe even become part of my community.  Welcome if you are already here.
